International Business
In this assignment, we had to analyze a a country and create a report and powerpoint on its economy, government, traditions, logistics and other various aspects that are important concerns if we were to open up operations in that area. Our group chose Taiwan. We used many resources to gather information for our report. This assignment was one of the biggest ones in our second semester. This taught us how to analyze and research.
Taiwan:
E-Business
This assignment is a group presentation for Entrepreneurship Business that we took in the third semester. This assignment is called the Blockbuster Challenge. Mike Gibson, an owner of a small video store in a small town, has to decide either to sell his store to Blockbuster, who are about to come into town, or go up against them. We basically build an action plan for Mike Gibson, for which he can use to aid him in his decision. This cause showed us what we would need to do if we were in the shoes of Mike Gibson. It basically helped us get ready for the business plan that we would eventually have to do in this course.

Marketing: Icon Acoustics
This is one of the first presentations I did during my time at BCIT with a group of five people. This occurred during first year. This power point was to answer logistical problems a company was having. We learned the importance of logistics in a firm, as well as learning how to present in front of people.

Applied Management
This assignment occurred during the third semester. In this assignment, we had to analyze several occurences that Central Services Inc. was encountering and turn the data we looked at into graphically representation. This first chart shows the correlation between days absent and age, the second shows the customer call centre feedback rating and the third chart shows shipping problems and occurences. This assignment helped me refine the tools I learned in previous semesters, which will be an asset to have once I graduate.
Applied Management Assignment:
Change Management
This is an assigment that I did in my second semester. For this assignment, we were required to go out and interview a person in a management position and comment on ways they may try different methods to overcome issues they may be having. This projected also required us to do outside resources to find answers. This assignment gave me different aspects as well as real life situations which I may encounter as well as ways to resolve these issues.
Change Management Interview:
Ebay Business Plan
This is an assigment I did for the second semester at BCIT. This course was E - business, which taught us a lot about entreprenurship. This assignment required us to do research in order to produce a marketing plan, which in turn would be used to develop a full business plan.
While using many resources, I was able to determine trends, cost of operating, forcast sales among many other things that was related to my business. While doing this assignment, I was able to learn valuable skills that will help me start my own business in the future.
